Kyereboso Gold Project

The Kyereboso Gold Project is TuNya Mineral Resources’ flagship venture located in the heart of Ghana’s Ashanti Belt. With 450,000 ounces of proven gold reserves, the project is poised for significant expansion. The Kyereboso project is strategically positioned to unlock substantial resource growth, contributing to TuNya’s long-term vision of becoming a key player in West Africa’s gold mining industry.

Location:

  • Ashanti Region, Ghana, in the renowned Ashanti Belt.

Resource Estimate:

  • 450,000 ounces of proven gold reserves at 1.4 g/t Au.

Project Overview:

  • The Kyereboso Gold Project is TuNya’s flagship mining exploration project, strategically located in the highly prospective Ashanti Belt.
  • With 450,000 ounces of proven reserves, the project is positioned for significant growth and resource expansion.
  • The project benefits from its proximity to well-established mines, such as Obuasi Mine, known for its significant production history.

Exploration and Development:

  • TuNya is focused on expanding the current resource base with exploration drilling, targeting multi-million-ounce potential.
  • The current exploration campaign aims to increase the gold reserves and further define the resource boundaries.

Geology and Mineralization:

  • The project exhibits hydrothermal vein mineralization and Tarkwaian conglomerates, which are highly indicative of gold-bearing formations.
  • The mineralization style is similar to other world-class mines like Damang Gold Mine and Tarkwa, both of which are located within the Ashanti Belt.

Drilling and Resource Expansion:

  • Drilling Program: Ongoing drilling with the goal of adding an additional 1 million ounces to the resource. Recent drilling intersections include significant gold mineralization, such as 15m @ 2.3 g/t Au and 14m @ 2.6 g/t Au.
  • Future drilling is expected to further expand and delineate the resource, focusing on areas such as Yawdankwa Trend and South Ridge.

Mining Lease and Permits:

  • The mining lease was granted in July 2022 for a period of 13 years, securing TuNya’s long-term rights to the gold-bearing area.
  • The project is fully licensed with environmental permits in place, ensuring compliance with Ghana’s mining and environmental regulations.

Infrastructure and Accessibility:

  • The Kyereboso Gold Project benefits from well-established infrastructure, including road access, high-tension power, and nearby mining services.
  • The project area has easy access to local labor, providing operational efficiencies and opportunities for community engagement.

Environmental and Social Responsibility:

  • Environmental Management: TuNya maintains a commitment to minimizing environmental impact and follows strict environmental guidelines in all its operations.
  • Community Relations: Strong relationships with local communities and leaders, with a focus on creating sustainable socio-economic benefits through the project.
