Joe Amanor is a veteran of Ghana’s mining industry with extensive experience in surface and underground exploration as well as mineral resource evaluation. For over twenty years Joe was the Chief Geologist at AngloGold Ashanti’s Obuasi gold mine overseeing exploration activities throughout Ghana.

Joe has authored and co-authored eleven geological papers for major international
publications.

He lives in Accra and works out of the company’s office in Accra.
