Adrian Defreitas has over thirty years in the gold mining industry of West Africa holding senior positions in major mining companies and smaller producing companies. Experienced in underground and open pit mining, mine development and mine closure.

Adrain held senior Technical and Operational roles for AngloGold Ashanti at Obuasi. He was General Manager for Endeavour Mining at the Youga Gold Mine in Burkina Faso for six years and General Manager for Toro Resources at the Mako Gold Mine in Senegal for three years.

Adrian is the lead Technical Manager for TuNya. Accra based.
